Reginald ‘Adrian’ Crick was born in 1927 and died in 1996.
He was a music teacher at Horsham Technical School from the late 1960s to the mid-1980s, and for much of that time, was also the commanding officer of the school’s army cadet unit.
He also abused large numbers of students. And despite obvious warning signs he was never stopped, investigated or sacked.
In February 1996, Crick was charged with 94 counts of sexual offending against eighteen boys, most from the Horsham area. The offending occurred between 1979 and 1993 in:
- Horsham
- Ballarat
- Melbourne, and
- Stawell.
Crick was due to appear in Court in March 1996 in relation to the charges but died by suicide in late February 1996.
