Buckley taught music, English and drama. He used his power and position at the school to groom and abuse many boys, including during sleepovers at his living quarters.
When police raided his beach house in Lorne in 2013 they found a cache of explicit photographs. Some of the photographs were taken at Geelong Grammar, in his residence.
In 2015 Buckley pleaded guilty to abusing six boys in the 1980s and was jailed.
