James Richard Gunn was a former teacher and principal who worked across both the public and Catholic education systems for four decades starting in the 1970s.
Gunn was a prolific offender who used his position to abuse boys at school and then at their homes or other places. He ingratiated himself in the local community and in families.
Gunn has pleaded guilty to the offences he has been charged with.
