Father John Barker was a Priest within the Melbourne Archdiocese who offended against both boys and girls.

He was born in 1925 and died in 2007.

He served as Assistant Priest at:

  • Dandenong
  • Hampton
  • Moreland
  • East St Kilda
  • Glenhuntly
  • Essendon
  • Ashburton, and
  • Armadale.

he was also a Parish Priest at East Keilor (1970-79) and Mornington (1979-2002).

In one instance Barker took a boy to the shops to purchase sweets and then offended against that boy as he was eating a sweet in the car.
