Graeme Alfred Eldridge was a paedophile, Presbyterian minister and a convicted sex offender.
Eldridge was originally from Tasmania, where he started working in the Presbyterian Church in the 1960s. He then moved to the Daylesford area in the 1980s.
He sexually abused a number of parishioners both in their own homes and in his residence in Daylesford.
Many years later, some of these survivors came forward to police and complained. The Church stood behind Eldridge when he denied the crimes. His victims were given no support.
Eldridge was found guilty and was given a 7 years jail term in 1999.
