Phillip Douglas Hazeldine is a paedophile who was employed by Gippsland Grammar School in the 1970s and 1980s.
Hazeldine offended against students in the classroom, during remedial reading lessons and when taking children on school camps and overnight stays.
He has been convicted for his crimes.
An early victim of Hazeldine reported his abuse to his parents and the family complained to Gippsland Grammar. The family were not believed and Hazeldine continued to offend. Gippsland Grammar was supposed to educate the students who enrolled, however they left an offender in the school for years despite the complaint.
