Rightside Legal has successfully represented clients who were abused as children at Box Hill Boys’ Home.

The home was run by The Salvation Army.

We know shocking levels of physical and sexual abuse occurred at this institution throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s, and suspect it may also have occurred in decades prior to that.

In 2015 the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse heard harrowing stories of abuse against some of the most vulnerable boys in Salvos’ boys homes, who were supposedly in their care.

You can read more about the abuse here.

A number of Rightside’s clients were abused by Willem Willemsen. But there may also be other Salvation Army officers and staff who abused children in their care at the home.

If you have any further information or you want legal advice in relation to abuse that occurred at Box Hill Boys’ Home, please call 1300765702 or complete the confidential enquiry form below.

No Win. No Fee.

Capped Pricing.

At Rightside we don’t have a string of expensive offices, dozens of partners or expensive marketing campaigns to fund. We limit the number of cases we take on, prepare your claim properly and fight hard for 100% of what your claim is worth.

We understand that our clients are often anxious and uncertain about the whole legal process. We’ll do our best to eliminate the uncertainties. We work on a No Win No Fee basis – that means we fund the litigation, and you only pay when we succeed. We also cap our fees to give our clients greater certainty.
