Father Patrick (Paddy) Stephenson was a Jesuit priest and taught geography, religious education and French at Xavier College in Kew from the 1920s right up until the 1980s.
He was born 16 March 1896 and died on 5 May 1990.
There have been multiple reports by ex-students of inappropriate sexual and other abuse by Father Stephenson. In the 1970s and 1980s, Father Stephenson was known amongst students as a someone who would touch the boys inappropriately.
One incident of abuse was reported to the school’s Rector, but was dismissed.
